Brave the Mud Run

Brave the Mud Run is a 5K adventure race held in Poteau, Oklahoma, behind the fairgrounds at 1509 S Broadway. The event features multiple waves catering to different competitive levels, including competitive, somewhat competitive, sort of competitive, and a fun-loving non-timed wave. Teams of four or more are encouraged, with a dedicated wave for team participants.

All finishers receive a medal and shirt, and awards are given to the top three male and female individuals and teams. The run supports victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking in Latimer and Leflore counties, with proceeds benefiting related services.
