The Arrowhead Obstacle Trail Run is a family-friendly event held at Arrowhead Park near Neola, Iowa. Scheduled for September 20, 2025, it features a 5K trail run with over 15 obstacles and a 1-mile kids' course with more than 10 obstacles. Unlike typical mud runs, this event avoids messy mud pits and water crossings, making it accessible and enjoyable for all ages.

Participants can choose between competitive waves, where all obstacles must be completed, or open waves with optional obstacles. The kids' run is recommended for ages 6-12 and encourages adult chaperones. Proceeds benefit the Pottawattamie County Trails Association.

Registration includes park entry, free parking, and event photos. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
